A beautiful day for drag racing! I got sunburned pretty bad, as a lot of people did... forgot the sunscreen! The fastest Z was definitely Kyle, unfortunately, luck wasn't with him. :( Red lighted on the first round & lost by 2 tenths in the buy-back round. Oh, well, Super Street decided it would be nice to have a fast Z in their mag, so they shot photos of it during the afternoon. There were some super fast cars out there. Flaco Racing's 1972 tube frame, steel bodied, Mazda R-100 ran an 8.26 during time trials. Wow! Even the drag bikes had a hard time with that...
